Blogger slacker

Yes it's true, I am slacking in the blog department. I had a super busy weekend. I had to go spend Friday night with my boyfriend Nick Lachey, lol. He's such a doll. I didn't get home Saturday morning until 2 am, then I had to go into work at 6 am until 12 pm. I picked Savanna up after work and we went to Kroger. I had to buy one of those Hairstyle magazines to show my hair dresser what I wanted. We had lunch at McDonald's, then I had my hair appointment at 2:30. She was running behind so we got out of there a little after 5. You know I'm so sleepy by now. Keep in mind that I had to be up at 5 am Friday morning for work, and haven't been to sleep yet and this is 36 hours later!

After all that was finished we finally made it home and I had to get ready to go eat with some friends for a birthday at 7 pm. It was a blast catching up with my friends. They wanted to go out but I had to leave, I was so tired. On my way home my car starts acting up. I was freezing so I turned the heat on and it just blew cold air out. After a few minutes the car started over heating. I make it home, thank God, and get Brad to look at it. Turns out I need a new water pump. Just great! I just want to go to sleep now! I had so much to do when I got home from dinner. There was laundry, dishes, I had to give Savanna a bath. By the time Savanna, Brad, and I got finished with everything it was 1 am. Good night!!!! I had been up for almost two days. I'm just getting too old for that kind of stuff. NO MORE!

Sunday, one of my best friends, Marcus got married. I'm so happy for him! We recently cleaned Savanna's closet out and got rid of a lot of stuff. She ended up with nothing to wear to Marcus' wedding. Brad was working on my car and my sister picked us up and off we went to Wally World. They didn't have anything! I was freaking out because in Savanna's section, they had cute skirts and cute shirts, but nothing matched. When we finally found something that went together, we couldn't find any shoes to freakin go with the outfit! By now we are all just angry and flustered, and ready to just say screw it when finally, we put an outfit together. Yes!!! Off to the ceremony we went. It was absolutely beautiful.

We got home and Brad was finishing up the car, and we had a family car wash day. It was fun! So now my Camaro is shiny with a new water pump. I can turn the heat on and be warm. I hate being cold worse than anything in the world. My bones just can't take it. After we ate we had our yearly pumkin carving fest. Well, Brad actually did most of the work. Savanna and I gutted the pumpkin while Brad took a shower. He did the carving and he cooked the pumkin seeds. They didn't turn out as good as usual. I'm not sure why. That was our wonderful weekend. Full of lots of fun things. Mama has Savanna tonight so I get to go home and get straight in the bed. Yay! I will post a bunch of pics from this past weekend when I get home tonight.
